The Board of Directors of the Microfinance Enhancement Facility (www.mef-fund.com) is launching a tender procedure to select provider(s) of portfolio management services to the Fund.
The Board, with support of the Fund’s sponsors, wishes to enhance the mission and investment strategy of the Fund to strengthen the provision of gender-smart and responsible financial services to underserved women as well as women-owned and women-led businesses in emerging markets with the aim to improve livelihoods, support income generation and employment, and promote women’s leadership. To support the implementation of the new strategy, the Board has decided to launch a tender and intends to select 2 to 3 portfolio managers with relevant expertise and successful track record to which the AIFM of the Fund would delegate portfolio management.
The purpose of this call for expressions of interest is to develop a short list of candidates that will be invited to participate in a tender for portfolio management services to the Fund.
Interested parties are invited to register by sending the full name of the company, and contact details (name, title, e-mail) of its representative(s) to tenders@innpact.com. Upon registration, candidates are requested to sign a Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement and check their eligibility before receiving the synopsis of the Fund and other sensitive information relevant to this tender procedure. Registration will open 30 June 2022.
